Preschool Graduation

Wow...I can't believe that Jaylynn has finally graduated from preschool. She has went to school since she was 3 months old....not counting the year I took off when the twins were born. She has been the best student. I think I only had to get mad at her only one time. Jaylynn did a great job in the graduation program but I think the best part was when she gave a yell/cheer for her boyfriend Beckham. I guess we are making love connections at Super Stars Preschool.

Here are some things that Jaylynn learned at school this year.

She learned to write to 50...can do 100 but makes mistakes.
She can count to 100.
She can read words. (Simple sight words)
She learned her telephone number and address.
She can write complete sentences with help.
She can sound out word family words.

But I think the best thing she learned this year was to be a good honest person who loves everyone and life. I don't know if she learned this or she was just born this way. Jaylynn is an amazing girl with a great personality and determination to always do her best! I am so proud to be her mother. She is beautiful inside and out!

Texas RoadHouse Field Trip!

Texas Roadhouse puts on the best field trip ever. They let the kids color all over the floors with chalk, then we went on a tour in the back with the store manager, (he was so fantastic with the kids) then we had lunch there with their yummy food. The best part was that they let us adults go in the back and get as many drinks as possible! It was awesome! It is a must field trip...every year!

Zoo Field Trip

The Zoo Field trip was a little crazy with 40 kids and 21 adults....but we all sure love it. Especially the bird show!

Summer Birthdays!

Jaylynn loved bringing a birthday treat to preschool the last week of school. She doesn't think its fair that she has a bday in the summer and doesn't get to share a treat. So I always make sure I let the summer bday kids join in on the fun!

Soccer

Jaylynn played soccer this year and had a great time doing it. Her daddy of course was the coach. The twins had a great time being in on the action. Brynn would have me push her on the swings and Brack would ride on his daddy shoulders. I thought I would have to keep doing sports and dancing with Jaylynn but one day at practice she couldn't get enough of some cheerleading practice that was going on right by us. So I guess their is our answer!

Competition Team???

Jaylynn tried out for the competition team at her dance studio. We still haven't found out if she made it or not. But regardless Jaylynn loves this. I got to watch her on a T.V. in the directors office. She just smiled the whole time and let those Judges know that she was here to dance! I am so proud of her and the determination she has to work hard at everything she does. This isn't me pushing her....she pushes herself!

Mother's Day!

Well I have been a little out of the loop without a camera. Yes...my camera broke. Its been broke for about a month and I feel like I lost some precious memories that I couldn't capture. So I think that my husband could tell my unhappiness....so I got a camera for Mother's Day. You forget how much you NEED a camera until you have to go without one. I am still trying to get use to it...but so far so good!

I had a great Mother's Day with my family. My dad surprised me and came to church and then took me out to dinner. I know breaking the sabbath is bad but I LOVED the no mess and no work. What a treat! Ben was very understanding to my tears on that day. I just miss my sweet mom. But I am also grateful for the mom's that are here for me and take such great care of me. My friends are wonderful with their sweet words and phone calls. Jalaire who I consider my 2nd mom. She took care of me when my mom was dieing and she still is always making sure I am okay. And of course my wonderful aunts. I LOVE LOVE LOVE them. They have always treated me like I am their own! They love my kids and listen to all my worries!

Jaylynn did say that cutest thing to me that morning. She woke up and made me some hash browns. I love Benny Boy's cooking. She came into the bathroom as I was getting ready and this is what she said..." I wanted to get you something really special..so I was going to build you a hut so you could be alone all day without anyone talking to you. But I didn't know how. I just giggled....it's sad but so true...I would have loved it!

So as I reflect on this day I hate that I have to live without my mom...my best friend...my everything....but I am so blessed to have the people in my life that I have. I love my mother's that are all around me..that help me become a better mother to my kids! And of course I love being a mother to my kids. I need to appreciate this job a little more...but when you have twins that are almost three...it's a little hard to look for the good!

Check out this pillow I made with my friends. Isn't it cute? Hailey taught our girl group how to make these pillows. And yes it's all homemade....I stuffed it! The only problem that night was hitting a big red thing.Opps! Can u guess it??? I guess I'm glad I don't have my Van yet!
