August is Over????

I can't believe that August is over! What happened??? Well I just wanted to end August with what we did this weekend!
First off it was my mom's b-day on Sunday! I sure miss her! She really was the life of any party! So full of life! We miss her even more so this weekend at the Dale Family Reunion. It's just not the same without her!

My dad and my mom were highschool sweethearts! They sure loved each other! I don't think I realized it until she died! My dad is a hard person to always love but my mom did. I need lessons. How did she do that?? HA HA!!Love you dad!

Jaylynn and my mom! Jaylynn was a week old in this picture. We sure had fun dressing her up together!

Jaylynn is getting so interesting, to say the least!. She loves dancing around the room and she really does get emotional during those slow songs on the Hananah Montana CD. Notice Ben's expression in the back ground!

Bracken's tree in his room. Wow...it sure is hard to decorate a boys room. Ben wants me to put a poster up of Joe Montana. That's how he thinks a boys room should be. As if.....I think the tree and pictures are okay and not the girly. Ben's just worried about me doing a theme room. He used to make fun of my mom and her kitchen rooster decorations. Jeff's just worried that the tree scares Bracken at night. Well....will see!!

So yesturday I walked down stairs to put something away and this is what I saw. Yes...Jaylynn made her own bed without me even asking. Can she be anymore perfect. She said "mom big girls make their own beds!" She is 3 going on 16.

Reese and Jaylynn kissing grandma Joy's picture on her grave. After they kissed it they both decided that they wanted Grandma Joy to come out of the grave and play with them. As they were talking about this my dad was just sobbing as you could imagine. He always is saying that he wishes she could be with all her grandkids. They were her favorite thing. A perfect Grandma.

Yesterday Jaylynn said that she wished that Grandma JOy could still be alive so she could help her solve problems. It was so cute. I then explained how Grandma is her angel and that she will always help her!!

Jaylynn and I made these balloons to go on the grave! They turned out perfect. I love including her with the things I do for the grave. I never want her to forget her grandma!

The family! My dad still just cries all the time. He misses her so much!

I have to give a congrads to Melissa (My favorite person in the world) for getting engaged to this Hottie Issac. Melissa had helped me every week since the twins were born. It has been so fun getting close with my long lost cousin. I just love her more then anything. I hope she will be blessed beyond measures for being there for me!

Here is some pictures from the reunion. We had a great time! The only bad thing about it was the jet ski tipping over with my 3 year on it. It was fine and Ben did save her. But she did ask Ben while he was putting her back on the jet ski, "Are we going to die?" Yikes!! It was so scary.....but now a little funny. She had a lifejacket on!

Here is my new life.... Bracken and Bynn are outlaws together and are always making trouble and worst of all making messes. THey sure love playing with each other!

What a fun reunion. I can just imagine the fear in Jaylynn when the jet ski tipped over. Jess I wish your mom was here to see what a great mom and friend you are. I am sure you learned it all from here. I guess she is always watching. I freekin love you and admire you so much!

Gosh...your post makes me cry. You seriously are such a strong woman and pure inspiration. I love the way you left pictures on her grave. I'm sure she is looking down on you and so so proud. What a fun weekend. I'm glad you had a good time. Now, I am going to make Paisley look at this post and tell her all about Jaylynn making her own bed. Maybe she can learn a little how to be a big girl too. We sure have good examples for friends! Love love love you tiny dancer!

I hate to admit I blog stalk, but I had to comment on your post. My mom passed away in March and it has been SO hard. When you talk about your dad, I just sit and cry, as my dad is going through the exact same thing. My moms birthday is coming up on the 14th and I have been dreading it. I LOVED your balloon idea, and if you dont mind, I may steal it to decorate her grave. I keep hoping this whole thing will get easier, but I cant imagine that it will. Thanks for posting your emotions, it has helped me know that I am not alone.
